Tsubasa Ohzora has always loved playing soccer and has quickly excelled at it. When he’s 11-years-old, he transfers into Nankatsu, whose soccer team always loses against the prestigious Shutetsu and their formidable goalie, Genzo Wakabayashi. When Tsubasa proves himself to be a worthy rival and a driving force in Nankatsu’s team, his Brazilian coach, Roberto Hongo, notices his potential and offers him a chance to come with him to Brazil.
