Newbie here anyway, i put this new rig together about 3 weeks ago and so far, it still works like a charm. Also, i OC'ed the processor right after finishing the build (Intel P.D.C. E5400 Wolfdale) to 3.2Ghz (238 x 13.5) and so far, it's really stable as a rock. I also made sure to turn off SpeedStep and C1E and locked the PCI-E x16 slot to 100Mhz in the BIOS. Here's a pic of the CPU stats using CPU-Z. Core Speed: 3213.4 MHz Multiplier: x13.5 Bus Speed: 238.0 MHz Rated FSB: 952 MHz oh, my mobo is a GIGABYTE GA-G41M-ES2L mATX rev.

Thanks for the info. Well, i'm gonna just gonna stick to 3.2Ghz for now since i'm still using the stock heatsink, with some JetArt Nano Diamond Thermal compound. So far, i've seen it go up at around 59*C/55*C @ full load, and that's after gaming for 3 hours straight with chrome and winamp running in the background. I live in the Philippines and believe me, days here get really hot to the point of being nearly unbearable, and my room doesn't have AC too. Lol as for custom HS/F's, does the CoolerMaster Hyper TX3 sound good? It's pretty cheap at the retailer near my place and it looks like it would fit my midtower with no issues too. Ms office 2010 activation keys. Haha, good point there and as for SpeedStep, i have it enabled now, but i never dared enable C1E anymore.

I heard it can really muck up a good OC when it's turned on. 39 C on idle and never budging that much on light loads. Oh, here's a list of the confirmed upgrades i'll be getting this november.
