From your post I don't understand if you had trouble getting the integration to work, but I am assuming you installed CR and didn't get it in VS2005. Crystal Reports XI Release 2 setup (Developer and Server editions) automatically integrates CR in the VS2005 IDE, if VS2005 is detected during the setup, regardless if the bundled version of CR is installed with VS or not. Can you tell me which edition are you using? Of course, if you unselect the.NET components under the Developer Components option when you install CR (by default both.NET 1.0 and 2.0 are selected), the integration will not happen, so if this is the case, you should modify the CR setup and make sure they're selected. Note also that in case you installed VS2005 after CR XI R2, you will unfortunately have to reinstall CR in order for the integration to happen. Hope this helps. Hi kima, I already purchased CR XI Professional Edition several months ago. This includes CR Server XI introductory offer with 5 named licenses. Ok, as we all know CR XI was release much earlier than VS 2005 that is why it is not compatible to work with VS 2005.
